Tilray Shares are currently listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol “TLRY” and trade in U.S. dollars. In addition, Tilray currently expects to list the Tilray Shares on the TSX at, or as soon as practicable following, the Effective Time, which will trade in Canadian dollars. Consequently, following the closing, Aphria Shareholders are expected to be able to trade their Tilray Shares on either exchange, in either currency.

Thx Cane,  I know you would stir this up and find some info. So far what I’ve found states they plan on having Tilray list on the tsx ASAP but it’s not a sure thing yet, although I would see that being a must. Hope that’s part of the announcements tomorrow.    If so that will give it a boost as well a sense of comfort to us Canadians not loosing into the USA.  After all Aphria ...more

From the Aphria/Tilray stockholders book For any Canadian resident shareholders that hold Aphria Shares in an RESP, TFSA, RRSP or other reg. account, no immediate Canadian tax will arise as a result of the arrangement, whether or not any gain is realized on the disposition of Aphria Shares. Further, Tilray Shares will remain qualified investments for an RESP, TFSA, and RRSP or other reg. accounts. ...more

Thanks but I don’t see how that’s possible without Tilray being listed on the TSX.      I don’t think you can hold stocks listed on ISA exchanges in a Canadian registered account.   But not 100% sure either.    May be part of the announcements tomorrow.
