Ownership
Finally looked up ownership a bit more closely: Wachsbergs now own 38M shares (52%) with 683 Capital Management at 10M shares (14%) and Anson Funds at 8M shares (11%). We are the tail of the dog. I wish I could tell what the shares were purchased for - the problem is through successive rounds of financing and sales of assets that so many shares were given away at unrealistic prices that it's impossible to tell.

Thanks for this info. It seems like 21% of the shares are responsible for these wild swings. If buybacks continue we will see that reduced to 17% a year from now.

Anson is dumping their shares. That 8 million was the situation at the end of July. They had sold 22% (2,3 million) of their position to that date from the previous. According to tickr.com. 683 had been adding to that point.

AHC is a worthless company (or worse) as long as current leadership stays & they aren't going anywhere. They have burned just about every important relationship possible with all stakeholders. It is going to be a penny stock. Too bad. I had hopes they would leverage the COVID gift they were given. But they did the opposite. Nobody wants to deal with them.

The September numbers should be released this week. Is that sales numbers you're talking abou>? The accounting report wont be released til mid-November. And the fly in that ointment is that none of these interim statements are audited.

No, the NCIB. It has to be released within a certain date as an insider filing. The August buybacks were strong but started late. I will check it every day and let you guys know the numbers.

Came here to report this. Buybacks are not being taken advantage of. It's odd because they were buying back strong on the last week of August. Doesn't look good, but doesn't change the valuation is ridiculously cheap.

it now seems to me that they are running the price down, probably to below $1.00, to take it private. Anyone who thinks this tire fire of a company is cheap is going to keep taking a bath.

I agree on that motivation. I wonder how that private equity firm that bought a 10% stake in the low 3s feels. By all metrics it is cheap and about a quarter of the market cap is backed up by cash. But is this company investable with uncooperative management? That's really the question. I will hold through and see where it goes.

probably means Q3 results are very bad and they are burning through cash daily from operations. If that is the case, the stock will get trashed in November when they report.

AHC isn't swinging. It is going almost straight down into the ground
