Grandpa, I'm confused how can there be a lawsuit against Argex? Mazen has always put out timely news releases, but we chose to believe in the China deal where anyone can hire an engineering company and Vietnam deal where a company is going to finance a 250 million dollar plant and Argex get huge chunks of profits.
Comment by grandpa67 on Jun 28, 2019 8:15pm
I have told everyone before the debentures own the tech. Mazen owns 50% of the debentures, So here is the plan, bankrupt the company and then Mazen and board members keep the tech and form a new private company. The shareholders get zipo. Why do you think that shareholders owning 50 million shares are taking legal action? The old honest Mazen and board have gotten a big case of greed in their ...more

Grandpa, You are spot on in your understanding of the AlNaimi plan.  Greed rules here. I would like to know what fundraising efforts were made following the most recent announcements. It would seem strange that no one would be intetested so you may draw the conclusion that no effort was made by AlNaimi and Co knowing where owneship wold end up following a bankruptcy! On another note I have ...more

Jacksha, yes those are the exact questions we need to ask Argex. Just look at the balance sheet of late and over the years. We always had debt on the balance sheet and were always able to raise funds and that was before the BIGGEST Announcement (ECEC) was made.So why, after this huge announcement (ECEC etc.), would Argex now decide to proceed with plans of Bankruptcy? Officers and Directors have a ...more

Gandpa67, You have not only AlNaimi who must have an extensive network to fund raise from but also Florian Rais who has extensive contacts in the investment world. Mazen Hadad has done a great job in the past it is a shame his contacts did not follow-on. Let's face it, we are not talking about needing tens or even hundreds of millions.  AlNaimi's brother too, seems very odd that he ...more

Grandpa, I think you trying to give too much hope to this board from the lawyers of DLA Piper because they have to find wrong doing from Mazen, which I doubt they will. There is no money in Argex, so the company is bankrupt. That's why there is re-structure in place, so the courts want to see competing bids come out to salvage the company and pretty sure Mazen will put out probably at least ...more

Is DLA Piper lawyer firm going to do it for free? I highly doubt it, so why would shareholders that have gotten burned, be willing to throw good money on something that probably won't work. After this fiasco, I bought Bitcoin around 5,000 and doing pretty well. I guess, I will hear on Wednesday what the law firm will say, but not expecting anything good to come out of it.
Comment by Mininggeneral on Jun 30, 2019 10:08pm
Grandpa, the China news was fools news, after Meng, any person besides investors of Argex knows that won't work. I can't say for sure Mazen didn't know he was fooling us, but he chose to put it out there, so possibly people could run. I know you feel Mazen is screwing, but all the releases were in real time and Argex was on the brink, 5-6 million in hole for super long. I'm not ...more

Minninggeneral, I don't know where you're coming from with this but it concerns me. "Grandpa, the China news was fools news..."  If you believe that then you should be all in with Grandpa's plan. I must be a fool because I believed that NR and I suspect many more fools here (not in the know) believed it as well. We have some serious s#it going on here. Read this press ...more

Turn, do you think DLP will do the court case on contingency basis? I will be shocked and definitely participate.
Comment by turr on Jul 01, 2019 1:32pm
MinningGeneral, first thing, I don't know, but I can see your panic and fear as is mine and most other people here who are not in the loop, and rightly so. But, I do know this (I've been around long enough for that for sure) if the company mentions bankruptcy anywhere in any statement pertaining to 'the company' then that always( at least in my history) means trouble, big trouble ...more

I totally agree with you Turr. I too am one of the dumb ones that bought when I should have been selling. GLTA

If the ECEC news release was true there would be no problem with financing...if not true then it's fraud, plain and simple.
Comment by Mininggeneral on Jul 01, 2019 5:26pm
Moonlight, please read the news release very carefully, Argex is hiring a engineering company, you and I can do that, that's idiots release. Did they say they will throw in money to build any plant, are we all drinking too much kool-aid. This news release was way after the Meng fiasco, so anyone besides Argex's investors know we are probably all duped.
Comment by Moonlightsearch on Jul 02, 2019 10:23am
Mininggeneral..this comment is just gibberish and totally irrational. Far as I'm concerned you've lost all credibility, if you are being paid to bash you're not doing much of a job......
Comment by Mininggeneral on Jul 03, 2019 2:05pm
Moonlight, your an idiot, heard the DLP meeting. I totally predicted this would happen. Are you going to fund the lawsuit, pay all creditors and run the company, sorry to say only invested $500, maybe you put your life savings into this and your the one crying. I even called DLP won't do it for free. Argex files for bankruptcy 2019-06-18 20:16 ET - News Release Stopwatch news releases. Do you ...more

Turrr, after all this happening, we all have to wake up and realize, our shares are probably wiped out. Do you understand, it doesn't make sense to do a lawsuit when the odds of something happening is slim or none. Like I said if the lawyers are going to do it on contingency, no problem, but I will not sink another cent into this. Do you think when Carl Icahn takes over bankrupt companies, the ...more

Mininggeneral, the only one here drinking too much kool-aid here is you and it looks like it's affecting your eyes and brain first. That news release of the signing with ECEC from China on June 4th was the best bit of news this company has had in months, if not years. It's what all of us longs have been waiting for. Well said Turr, as a long term shareholder right behind you. We're not finished yet!
Comment by turr on Jun 28, 2019 8:18pm
I tend to agree, Grandpa. It will be another incentive for the company to make this company work or, perhaps, a deterrent against letting it go into bankruptcy. I'm a little ignorant of such things and can't say I know a lot about it. But there are a couple of things I do know. I know if we do nothing and they go bankrupt we will get nothing and someone else will reap the benefits at our ...more

Well said Turr, I concur. The more shareholders that join will show our intolerance of Officers and directors breaching their Fiduciary duties. They must be held accountable for their actions/inactions.
