Not exactly. My history with Melnyk goes way further back. I don't expect you to understand but if he had done to you what he did to the company I worked for, and was heavily invested in, you would not be such a fan boy. What I lost at Acerus was only the icing on the cake.

You talk about people that are totally wrapped up in themselves? Melnyk was the poster boy. I have never met a person that so often took a personal dislike to the people he did business with and the viciousness with which he dealt with them.

What happened with Trimel was Ian just giving him a TINY taste of his own medicine. He was a total a$$ - just ask his wife. What good did he do? Keep a loosing team in Canada? BFD! I couldn’t give a mouse’s foreskin for hockey. His philanthropies? Yeah sure, as long as he got a bargain tax incentive. What rich guy doesn’t have a bunch of charitable endeavours he uses to get tax breaks and win favours with government officials?
