So much talks on transporting of crude

With all the publicity on how to transport crude in order to reach their final destinations faster than using the traditional pipeline approach, Elbow River's future looks bright. I would buy a small number of units to capitulate on this opportunity. Elbow River will act as a base for her revenue in future.

JReynolds, aside from the tanker car manufacturers, which companies do you see as a way to play on transport of oil by rail?   I have found very few opportunities.    Most of them have other businesses that hold back the logistics business.   What I wish Avenex would do is sell some of its oil assets.   Avenex has far too many smallish production locations.  Their ...more

canexus has an emerging related business to shipping by rail.  with canexus though you are buying alot of other components for good or bad.   i'm not a holder of canexus although I keep it on the radar.

Thank you for your question - I have not yet come across any counter that focusses specifically on transporting oil by rail. Perhaps such a business is not viable or justifiable to be set-up an an entity of its own, yet...  The nearest I can think of would be the railway companies, which set-up a branch which specifically does this operation on top of their other passenger and goods trains ...more
