Well,... whatever the 'assumptions' we have out there, I'm not pulling-out just yet. A co that is solely in the O&G business will notjust go down so easily. At the very least, someone will buy them over, then we can start all over again. Seen that many times, and with the other industries too.

Well, it is far too late to sell now. May as well just ride it out. But the best move would be to do a swap, buy PCE and sell your AVF, as PCE is priced at a discount. So you will get more shares of the new company for the same number of dollars. And you get to book a tax loss if you sell your AVF today. As AVF initiated this deal, they will not get a sweetened offer. But PCE could get a bid from ...more

Tx Bakken - there is a small margin to be had - and it is worth a look - I estimate PCE trading at 20 cent discount. Charger is the big winner in this deal - AVF shareholders get nothing from the 80m Elbow sale and are taking on a dog.

PCE is up a lot more than AVF, so anyone taking my advice first thing this morning is already in the black!
