Will they be paid AGAIN?

Tom  Buchanan   and  other    executives   were  paid   16.2  million  in   2010   see  page   50  of  the  Midnight  Pace  circular   to  leave  ----inspite  of  that   3   stayed  on  as  directors   of  Pace .   If  you  voted  YES    you  will  be  setting  them  up   to  receive  another   similar  severance  in  the  future  .

The savvy investor and anyone having read all my DD and was able to benefit from the information I managed to dig up will be long gone with a very nice profit before any of what your talking about could ever come to pass. A year from now everyone in this forum should be gone and the bag holders we all sell our shares to will be having the conversations here instead of us. Your ...more

The saddest truth of all is that even if you did stop the merger AvenEx has bee severely sabotaged. The end result of the merger not going through at this point is a severely depressed stock price that could take a year, or more to recover. Ask yourself how many people who own shares of AVF would want to sit on shares for a year, or morea after having lost over 60% of their value and no longer ...more

I  doubt  if  T.B.  will   have  to  buy  any  shares   he  will  just  get  awhack   of  new  options    as  the  old  options at  Pace  AVF  and  Charger  are  worthless  .  He  will   be  able   to ...more

Mitchell sold after the merger and left a bunch of bagholders. That is why the PPS plumetted. I have confirmed that Mitchell and Buchanan have a very good relationship.

does anyone have any good sites to find the major shareholders of a stock ? also to see insider trades ? from what i see it looks like bruce sold his pce stock in 2008 ? but in the article it says he holds 9% ? did he hold these since 2008 ? or a recent buy .

bigbank91 says: from what i see it looks like bruce sold his pce stock in 2008 ? If he did then he evidently started buying them up again last year. Fri, 10 Feb, 2012 Bruce Mitchell Announces Filing of Consolidated Early Warning Report relating to Pace Oil & Gas Ltd. (formerly Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd.) pursuant to a Settlement Agreement with the Ontario Securities Commission Mitchell has ...more

Penny , I hate to disappoint you but there are no old stock options when companies merge or are bought out all the non vested options are paid out in full... of course the companies have to have monies to do that hence that why avf comes in with their surplus of 16 millions from the sales of er (yes tris that is what is left after they paid their 64million debt) that will help pay out all of those ...more

mo1975, you may be right. I certainly agree that most if not all money paid to anyone should have been done with stock. If only we lived in a perfect world. As far as I know the corporate largess has been poured in plenty on executives in akmost all corporations in an unethical manner. Walltreet and the Banks are notorious for it. In any case why has Nova Bancorp not once made a peep about any of ...more

Tris,   novabankcorp has their own agenda and they certainly would not create a precedent , remember that these guys also are given stock option etc..... however in this world today there are some companies that are progressive and that adhere to the model of   """  reward...results"""  in any case  i beleive that in the face of ...more
