RE:RE:RE:MeetingWow! That's really desperate! AGM literally stands for Annual (ie. happens every year) General (ie. no special purpose) Meeting.

If there was an offer to vote on, the offer and terms would first be announced, then the company would send out an Information Circular for a Special (ie not a general meeting but a specific thing to vote on) Meeting and state that the meeting was specifically to vote on the offer.
