I’ve been buying BIP

I’ve been buying BIP

My first big purchase of BIP.UN was a couple years ago around the $44 mark. Been buying bits here and there below that since. I'm really surprised to see it having sold of this much.

I understand their finances are a bit hard to decipher with BAM involved.. to be honest I find it hard to understand most large international so I'm not really a good voice on the matter.

I like their strategy. They seem like they want to make money. Yes there is risk, but I think they have a lot of good underlying assets with take or pay contracts. These CEOs love the money and that's the reason why they stay in the game of buying low, building up and selling high.

The recent dive into data centres may be the cause for concern. Massive growth potential but sort of an unknown when it comes to how that business will fair in a market downturn. If the tech mega-caps are hurting are they going to be utilizing the data centres and paying their bills?? I don't think it's likely to happen but maybe it's part of why there is a sell off as it's a sort of a high growth high risk unknown.

I'm going to be receiving some pension funds into a LIRA in the near future and BIP will be at the top of my list to allocate some of that money and put it to work.
