Optimism

You guys may be missing the point by suggesting your speculation....we sit a the levels we are for a different reason. In my past experience (and I didn't join Stockhouse a few days ago) the shareprice suggests something far more pessimistic. It is tax loss season, and there is no retail interest in BKX.So throw in the negatives about oil in general and this company has no leverage. It is a survivor but the bottom line it's not the shareholders that matter...It never is.Management  will always have jobs.
We mean nothing.

Management will not be around if the share price goes to zero. The reason they started this strategic review in March was because of institutional ownership who are fed up with management and the way their stock investment has gone.

Wittman, Further to your last post, are saying that carbonbull is trolling us?. I guess anything is possible. I do not think it will matter too much at this share price. We are strating to see panic and VOLUME. Take a look at the market depth. Ask's are building up.

Trolling?  just a new user never posted before, bot 2 million shares over the summer based on research i did in the oklahoma fields , actually visited five plays in my old pick up truck , veteran of oil investing and of course i post because i want the price to reflect what i beleive are the fundementals , well aware of the problems perceived in the sccop/stack of he parent /orphan wells and ...more

Thanks Carbonbull. NO disrespect. I was trying to ascertain what wittman was alluding to. We have been BNK shareholders for many years and I personally own a considerable amount of shares as well.  Considering we are at all time lows, I think it is time management provides some kind of update on the strategic review. Surely, something has been done over the past 7 months. The only way they ...more

My only point is that this is a public board..We've had our share of posters that claim all manner of so called facts. The reality is that there's no accountability..No matter how well written the posts. We sit at all time lows as you mentioned Broker.Thats the only reality that I look at.

Wittman, we all share the same pain i have lost fifty percent since i started buying in June , shareholders ultimately value a company , if we loose the faith in what is a credible oil delineation play because others chose to sell, then that is the market way of pricing liquidity , i chose to price value and will deploy another round of buying in late October , my positions are small relative to ...more

HI Carbonbull I think we all can agree it is viable delineation play. The real issue is capital and the development of this play. You can have all the oil in the world but if you cannot bring it home then who cares. I would like to know as a shareholder how they are going to develop this play. I think it is a viable question.

Broker G  there are are numerous non dilutive ways to further delineate or drill for cash , but the simplest would be to do a rights issue and then match that with some debt I would certainly take mine down ... the oil game is capital intensive , failing this one could explore fRm in Jv, or a capped return structure from drilling hedge funds .  I would not not like to see further debt ...more

Not sure I have the same faith in management as you do. We are currently sitting at ALL TIME lows. When Oil went down to $25 boepd in 2015 our stock was trading at .15-.17 cents. Oil is currently hovering between $50 to $60 and we about to go below .10 cents. This is a corporate issue not an industry issue. Comparables like GXO are not trading at ALL TIME lows. Management cannot sit in their ...more

They're out of money and these wells have steep declines. So production is spiralling down while they wait for some sharks to buy the company for pennies on the dollars? EGL has a market cap of $1 million. BKX is still at $26 million. It can go a lot lower still.

According to BNK's last presentation their well depletion is below average and is below their peer group. That is a positive. You are correct however in that they have NO money and the Bank of Oklahoma is not providing any further credit on their line of credit. The Board and Management have to make a decision. This is ridiculous to let the company disintegrate into nothing when you have a ...more

I don't think a market cap valuation ever made much sense to me..# number of shares × shareprice. That changes daily.Look at CR,I did very well with Crew, however, that market cap makes no sense to me either.I think that oil is out of favour in a big way. BUT......there's no money to be made with fixed income, marijuana stocks have caved, bond yields are terrible, gold is always short lived ...more

Hey Himmler, I'm a bike riding tree hugger making oodles of money on tech and renewables.  If you think oil  is bad now, wait until the Justin has to make a deal  with the greens on Monday night. Or maybe you'll get lucky and Justin will be able  to make a deal with Jagmeet.

Well, long time sharehodlers, Is it time we finally get out or just take this one to zero and write it off? We have heard nothing from Management in regard to drilling, funding or the strategic review. I guess their current strategy is to go bankrupt, quietly. What a shame. I always assumed the company would either sell or JV? But to do nothing and let your wells deplete without any plan is a ...more

au contraire i am still alive and well and have quietly been buying adding to my already overweight position, i also share your frustration in the silence from management although you can call the office and with patience get ahold of Wolf Regner, he does not seem panicked, i beleive he is quietly accumulating cash less the requirment to reduce debt and will drill a well in the 1rst quarter ...more

Hello Carbonbull Thank you for your post. Just to put things in a little perspective. BNK has not drilled any wells in 2019. Your last post suggests that they may drill 1 well in 1Q of 2020. Considering each well, if successful, produces 400-600 boepd, it will take10 to 15 years at this pace to get anywhere near a viable firm with a respectable cash flow. They only have a few options: sell or JV ...more

by board 9sorry for confusion) i was referring to this bullboard, there is no shareholder support whatsoever, the trading tells me that , the two instituitional shareholders have been silent so mgmt gets to only live within cashflows , i agree a stupid way to build a company , and this needs to be taken out ...question is who and at what price , the mood of majors and PE in this space not good, so ...more
