OTC Spread on BNKPF

Look at the percent spread between the current bid and asked.   I just put in my 50,000 share bid  showing below as CTSI at 8.75.  Which caused oone of the market markers to move up their bid for 8.1 to 8.4 cents US$.   The spread before I intered my day buy order was 25% betwee the best bid and ask.

Kind of tough to make money if you have to pay 50% or more commission to buy and sell!  Kind of hard to lose money if you are a market maker!

Well, I did get a fill on my 50,000 share order representing the entire OTC volume.   Perhaps I previous post help one or more members who were looking to sell for a 2019 tax loss?   It's like pulling one's own teeth typing to buy or sell shares of BNKPF at a fair price. Below  are the 5 trades and time execulted to fill my order yesterday: Trade Data  ...more

i guess you didn't read my previous post.Nobody said that I (we) haven't made money in the past.Thats never been the point arguing about money gain or money lost. You can save your so called trade data,as it's obvious to any first rate amateur that there's no volume. That doesn't require any thought. If there's no interest, there's no volume.BTW,it doesn't matter about ...more

Quite the rant ,c'est la vie , hope you feel better. Dont think we will get any joy in this stock until end of next well results, or oil breaks 65. For me it is an accumulate and hold , cheap option on oil in the ground. Try buying a two year option equivalent and see what you would pay for a call on 33 million barrels .

I was wondering where carbonbull was. The only difference, carbonbull, is the call option does not have 27 million in bank debt attached to it. Wittman, I think we are starting to wear down carbonbull. He is starting to realize our frustration with this company and management. He is now in a two year hold from 18 months previously and is now hoping oil increases to $65.    What ...more

Carbonbull is just another underwater hopefull.Weve seen 'em all before.Distorts arguments with talk about call options, bids and asks..lol.What nonsense. Conveniently ignores the facts you posted. No drilling ,no money, and unknown strategic reviews. All his posts are based on hope.Which is fine but there was a time where this company had ammunition to back up hope. That's not the case ...more

You are welcome to your opinion, which may be right ,I have never said there are not conditions that could take this company down , i have said that the risk reward for me is priced into this stock, which i personally am willing to take.  Wheter i prosper or lose it all on this stock is what makes a market a market , anyone who cant afford to lose all of their investment should stay well away ...more

Hello Carbonbull Thank you for your post. I do not think the issue is if we value the "puds". That is the reason we are here. The issue is how do they monetize those "puds" without bank financing or a rights issue. Declining internal cash flow may allow  the drilling of 1 well per year, max. I have not heard of any plan or strategy to get those "puds" out of ...more

Broker G  The tide is out, I see private companies every day with banks calling ,even though they have plenty of coverage on PDP , like it or not the market has shifted (hopefully just temporary) to no reasonable bids for junior/micro assets.  This will change when supply fromt the big three frac basins slow or there is unrest in opec supply reflected with oil above $65. Until then i ...more

So your investing thesis, for BNK is, let's hope oil goes to $65.00? Why  not just buy a call option on Oil then? Maybe you can ask your buddy, what other bids, if any, they received. At this point, with declining cash flow and now lower 1P reserves, they have no choice but to sell or JV. I really cannot see how they will survive hoping Oil recovers or what they are currently doing ...more

i did buy a call option on oil it is called BKX , plus i am actively buying stranded private assets , the torque to oil price you will receive is far more then the delta on a call option , time decay much less punitive. allows you to be off on your timing by a year or so , which I am afraid i have been on this stock. The basic call is that the curve will revert to contago and oil in the ground ...more

Well carbonbull, it is your time to buy. You mentioned in previous posts that you were hoping the volume at the ask would increase so you can purchase additional shares. Well here it is. Buy away. I guess I am having a difficult time beleiving that BNK received offers but none were reasonable, according to their last news release. As we trade at .09 cents how low could those offers have been?
Comment by Carbonbull on Nov 27, 2019 6:48am
Bids are being hit why would i reach for the offers? Tax loss selling is always irrational quite happy to buy small amounts daily.
Comment by Carbonbull on Nov 27, 2019 2:35pm
Satisfied , how much more do you have for sale?
Comment by BrokerG on Nov 27, 2019 2:50pm
Let's just say I have more than most Board members combined. Why is that by the way? Why are these Board members not buying. Obviously there is no take over offers,  so no conflic of interest, to worry about. Did you get a change to ask your source about any offers? and more importantly what was price of previous offers?
Comment by BrokerG on Nov 27, 2019 3:41pm
by the way, I am not selling. It must be another disgrunted institution.
Comment by Carbonbull on Nov 28, 2019 10:25am
My next level for buying has been lowered i will sit in the weeds just above a nickel , let the tax loss selling come to me.  Unless there is manifest fraud in the reserve report or there is a non disclosed technical reason that impacts the field then this is the deal of a decade in the micro junior space. Absent the above possibilities.
