Actually there are quite a few junior explorers which have recruited big political names to sit on their boards, in an attempt to shore up their profile and/or impress shareholders.  Rarely have I seen anything positive to shareholders to come out of this strategy though.  Generally, just more smoke and mirrors from the Venture traded companies.
