Mr. Trimble, the son of Bill Trimble, does IR work through Bill's 98 Corporate Group. Besides working Vancouver's popular bars and restaurants, young Mr. Trimble is a member of the prestigious Vancouver Club, which, for men under 35, costs $3,450 (including deposit) plus $104 a month. Older members have to pay a heavier $6,940 (including deposit) plus $208 a month. Mr. Trimble Sr. became well known for his work trying to turn around struggling companies in the 1980s. Much effort went into International Cruiseshipcentres Corp. and Apex Resorts, both of which had unhappy endings despite Mr. Trimble's considerable efforts.
