Think positive folks

$75 mill in my eyes would be a steal of a deal for what the increase in value would be for the Bayfield lands. That would equate to a cool buck a share or a 500% gain from today's market cap. Total buying opportunity in my eyes. Think positive & load up with as much as you can @ these levels & you won't loose. DYODD. We'll have it before the new year!!!!!>

love your enthusiasm FrankSmart but lets keep it real. A buck is highly unlikely and highy optimistic. Who's gonna pay a buck? BYV is running out of cash and New Gold is not likely to get into a bidding war with any other suitors. I'd be jumping for joy at 50 cents which is also not likely to happen. An asset is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and in the absence of ...more

I totally believe New Gold would pay $75 million if it increases the value of their investment by $3 billion. It's a strategit deal. Time will tell & to be perfectly honest with all of you I would hold out for $100 mill. There is still work to be done guys. It's all about VALUE!!!!!!!!>

Why would they pay $75 million when they could probably get it by offering less than $50 million? Do you see a white knight coming along and counter offering? It would be safe to predict that the majority of BYV investors would throw in the towel if they could get even 50 cents for their shares (I know I would). Sure, I'd love to get a buck but why would NGD pay more if they don't ...more

What do you say if we just see what the next 6 months has to offer. Gold is golden. I don't think that Jim has any intention of selling us short. An offer is only an offer. Happy days ahead. I'm here to make money not chump change. DYODD>

My thoughts on New Gold buying out BYV would be: New Gold will wait until the transaction with Rainy River is completed. They wouldn't want to be in a position where they lose Rainy River to another higher bidder and are left with holding only BYV. So they will wait until they have Rainy River for sure, and then will 'think' about BYV.
