Arbitrage

It's roughly 3 to 1 ( canopy). Is it factoring in the 10 to 1 split of Canopy? Something is very off with the vote fast approaching . Acreage has been climbing steadily over past few weeks.

Constellation Brands STZ did put up $5 billion Canadian for less than half of Canopy.  They then ponied up more to get controlling shares. Pretty sure Constellation guided Canopy to renegotiate ...more

The deal is indeed complicated but the conversion ratio for both type of shares has not changed (except for 10:1 rs split).for awhile now. Still a mystery why the fixed trade at a premium to the ...more

The deal is so complicated and confusing that I lose track. What I do know is that Murphy and his cronies fleeced the cash out of this and that Canopy seems to be ok with it, in fact, supporting it.  ...more

For one class of shares you have to give up 2 Acreage shares plus a third and for the other class you have to give up 3 shares and a third so one deal is better value than the other. All of this ...more
