History

Well there was Murphy or Marshall ???  who pretty much built Acrg following the same blue print as Canopy did under Bruce Linton that was to just scoop up everything you think you will need and don't worry about the cost.

Since then he schmoozed a bunch of value into his own pocket and his buddies inside the group fund they put together.

Then came John Boehner US old time politician who decided that he could be bought for $13 million as well as Canadian Ex Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, neither of whom seemed to do much for Acreage other than slop at the trough, quite heavily, imho!

STZ bought a different sense of valuation to Acreage with them positioning themselves and Acreage to be the base company for Canopy's US ization.

Hardcore that they are the once valued $4.3 billion dollar deal that Acrg was assessed at got chiseled down to $38 million that got paid in cash and distributed to shareholders as a special dividend while Acrg continued to tank.

There is still a fly in the ointment that I am concerned about and that is $50 million allocated to the Murphy group of special people in order for their yes vote on their Acreage floating shares.

At any rate, under the management guidance of STZ they capitalized with a revisit to the 4.3 billion dollar assessed value of Acrg shares down to 38 million and if there is another 50 million sneaking it's way to Murphy's group, that is a very discounted deal for Acreage because those shares that are also a part of the deal don't cost much for Canopy to print to do the swap out for Acreage shares.

Helluva deal that STZ finagled after the rich deal they made with Canopy to do the acquisition deal for Acreage which will be the main anchor for the new Canopy USA, LLC which will be the hub company for which I believe they intend to add the spokes of several other likeminded companies of interest that STZ got hooks into at beat down values imho.

The big question is will STZ treat the commonshareholders of the first run of Canopy fairly and can they build value by putting the synergies of all of these companies together.

Some timely new pro pot bills that could be construed as legalization for the US with a fairness component to level the playing field with beverage alcohol could launch the biggest greenrush the world will ever see.
