Co2 is one of the most misunderstood gasses on the planet. It's Plant food, and helps plants make oxygen. We breath the oxygen. Pretty important and the increase in vegetation is a signal Co2 is part of the circle of life. Not the problem of life.
Particulate matter is actually the biggest problem with global warming because micro aluminum is coating the earth right now and that aluminum causes reflection. The reflection then causes the ground level especially snow caps to heat up.
In our lifetime Co2 will become a legit commodity and while directly air capture is still a ways away from being profitable, a day will come when it is profitable.
When that time comes, we will be very ok with producing Co2 to atmosphere.
