unrealistic assumptions from the PEA ?Deet is right, this is RRS board, if you want to post about CME do it please in CME board.
regarding your claims, you made at least 4 very strong unrealistic/unproven claims (they say extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, when companies assume in PEAs aggressive assumptions just to increase margins/attractiveness of the NPV, i am generally very wary of this practice and its a red flag for me, it happened a lot in the graphite business) :
1- CME will need only 2 tons of silica feedstock to produce 1 ton of silicon metal, unlike industry standard (3 tons for 1ton)
2- CME will be able to produce silicon metal using only 98.5% silica material from its deposit langis (unlike indusrty standard 99.00%+ silica feedstock material)
3- CME will be able to extract each ton of its deposit which you are assuming is composed totally of lumps (unlike other silica ore deposits where there is waste/ and lumps constitute less than 60% of the deposit in best case scenario). for this claim let me tell me, its not strong but you are simply DEAD WRONG.
4- CME will be able to secure in quebec tens of thousands of silica lumps at 99.5%+ purity for a meager 51$ per tonne.
I will stop here, if you want to discuss CME, i am posting this post on CME board, thanks.
