Warrants accelerated?

Just double checking but the warrants have not remained in the triggered phase? wording is strange for the warrants.
Comment by investalot23 on Oct 31, 2018 10:09pm
i doubt they will accelerate the warrants the moment it qualifies.  I bet once the stock price hits 9 or 10 there will be acceleration of warrants

That's silly!  . Why leave the money and options  in other people's hands? What possible purpose would that serve?
Comment by UserError on Nov 01, 2018 11:08am
It dilutes your shares and inflates your market cap. If you don’t need the money right away, then there is an argument to leave the warrants until you need it. if your balance sheet needs cash, then yes it would be good to call the warrants.

Exactly.  There is no added incentive for OH to accelerate based on share price.  They will be redeemed at $5.50 regardless of if the stock is at $8.00 or $11.00.  Just whether they need the cash or not.

I understand that but do the warrants not expire if the stock price remains above $8.00 for 15 consecutive days?
Comment by Mattheus on Nov 01, 2018 12:45pm
No. The company can essentially force people to exercise within 21 days after the acceleration terms have been met. Only then will they expire but obviously everyone will exercise with prices where they are

ok thanks. I'm not an expert by any means but was lucky enough to acquire about 21000 warrants and wasnt sure how the expiry worked.  so there is a possibility the company wouldnt call them in?

Acceleration Trigger” means a situation whereby the daily volume weighted average share price on the CSE of the issued and outstanding Common Shares is greater than $8.00 per Common Share for a period of 15 consecutive trading days following the date of issuance of the Warrants;"   “Acceleration Right” means the right of the Corporation to accelerate the ...more

Better to have the time and use if the money and the following is espcially true with in the money warrants. "1. Treatment of options and warrants In nearly all cases, investors will require that a company's fully diluted capitalization include any and all options and warrants that are outstanding prior to the investment. The argument for such inclusion is that, although the holder of ...more

At the same time, 5.50$ in 2018 is worth more than 5.50$ in 2021. They may want to accelerate them to put that money to use (invest).
Comment by numbersguycdn on Nov 02, 2018 2:27pm
Agreed that there is no way they sit for 2 or 3 years ....... but to think that they 100% are going to call them the second the trigger is met is likely not correct.  Looks lile we will get to find out Nov 21/22 if that is the case.

It could go either way. If they want to use it right away then they’ll call it. All I’m saying is that it’s not a guarantee and the last acceleration of the other warrrants doesn’t mean they do the same.
