Geology of the Albert Lake property
The Rottenstone deposit is believed to be apart of a deep rooted magmatic Ni Cu and PGE mineral system hosted in ultramafic rock. The source of these metals is the mantle. This deposit was extremely rich (high value per tonne of rock) with PGE concentrations among the highest around for this type of deposit.
It was confirmed that 50% of the ultramafic intrusion consisted of sulphides (net textured sulphides) and it is believed that this intrusion was the result of a significant magma chamber at depth.
Drilling back in the 60's rarely exceeded 100 meters. Fathom Nickel is drilling deep to 400 meters and beyond. Investors could be in for a very pleasant surprise in my opinion. Guys are speculating that they didn't hit much because we haven't got an update. Be patient. The drilling program at Albert Lake is still ongoing so give them a chance to at least complete it. Also keep in mind they plan to drill deep at Gochager below the excellent intersections they got previously on the property. I suspect some of these wild fluctuations in the share price will continue until we actually get some real news.
