RE:RE:RE:RE:Unusual VolumeI'm a long time lurker and first time poster. Not an alias. But I couldn't stand by and watch you guys talk non sense any longer.
The American assets are not worth much. Portland and Nevada are very small pieces of the pie, and there's nothing in California except some agreements. The only value the American side of things provides is their licenses, and some equipment in Portland. Vegas has nothing but a kitchen. Do YOUR research, "clown".
Without operations in Canada, ASNT is not worth much. Everything was banking on the greenhouse to mass produce flower and Pitt Meadows facility to process, and that dream is dead now. Even if the license gets reinstated, they have to acquire starting plant material, or cut clones if they have anything left, and grow plants for a few months, and that's only at the Agrima facility. The greenhouse isn't operational and isn't licensed! Even if and when the greenhouse is done construction and ready to go, they still have to apply for licenses and pass inspections, and it will realistically only happen in phases like some of the other LPs had to do, growing in sections of the greenhouse. So the greenhouse could be 6 months to a year away from even being licensed, and another 3 months on top of that to have a crop. And that's if they manage to produce a viable crop their first go-around having never grown in a greenhouse before. That's a lot of things needing to go right with a lot of chips already stacked against them, and presumably very little money in the bank.
And where does the money come from to keep the business afloat until May/June when the Agrima facility will be ready to harvest? Or furthermore, how will they keep the business afloat until they get a sales license? which could be 6 months to a year after that if it's at the same rate it's been for other LPs. It's a pretty dire situation if you ask me. I don't see any other way out for the Ascent management but to sell their assets, IP etc. to another LP because this is WAY too big of a mess to cleanup. It's a great score for a bigger LP. They'll get some beautiful facilities and some nifty IP, and some licenses in the US.
Cross your fingers for a favorable acquisition, folks.
