RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Whats up with bevcannaMy belief is that the Bevcanna deal is dead. Bevcanna has refered to their licensing as imminent, but they don't expect to commercialize their products until Q1 2021. Today they released info that they have submitted Cali Boom and Keef drink profiles to Health Canada via an LP that will distrubiute the Bevcanna products through their Health Canada sales license. OILS is a Licensed Processor so maybe there is still a chance, but I think they are talking about a Licensed Producer of Cannabis a.k.a. A company that can grow their own.
Furthering my belief is that NextLeafs technology is at most the 2nd best technology in the space right now. It is nano encapsulation technology that was developed in the 70's so it is not ground breaking tech. Who has the best tech in the cannabis beverage space? It appears to be Sproutly and I believe that once Sproutly decided to decouple themselves from an exclusive agreement with Moosehead it opened the door for negotiations with BevCanna. The leadership team for Bevcanna has recently added Melise Panetta as an Executive Advisor since September. Melise's Full-Time job is Chief Commercial Officer for Sproutly. Are we talking coincidence? I guess its possible, but go further and make a connection between former CEO of Sproutly Keith Dolo commenting on Bevcanna developments on LinkedIn and the connections are becoming undeniable.
I bought into OILS thinking that if drinks become huge, this partnership will be the bread winner. Unfortunately I do not see that happening anymore and I moved all my OILS money into Sproutly. Do your own DD, but I am happy with my decision.
