RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bevcanna deal still alive?A lot of misinformation running rampid here. I started this thread last week with the Sproutly talk, I was on the call with Bevcanna today and I own shares in Bevcanna, Sproutly and only recently sold my Nextleaf.
On the call today I asked specifically what is going on with the Nextleaf deal. They passed the question over to Keith Dolo and he said that the deal was still in place. The Bevcanna team is going to have an agnostic approach to formulations so they can appeal to the broad market. This means that there will be a use for the Nextleaf technology; but also other technologies. There was no confirmation on who Bevcanna will use to bottle their own line of products and white labelling opportunites will vary based on the desire on the company creating the drink. Licensing for the facility is still under way with product expected to begin production in Q1.
There were a lot of questions regarding Sproutly and the obvious connection between Keith Dolo and Melise Panetta joining Bevcanna. While Keith dodged the questions nicely he did drop a few hints to a connection with Sproutly but no specifics. Stealth mentioned Emma joining Nextleaf? I am not sure about this connection, but if she has been replaced by Melise Panetta from Sproutly, I think her presence is not a coincidence.
Long term my thought is that if drinks are to take off globally there would need to be a premium brand (Sproutly) and a generic brand (NextLeaf). Ideally the two are going to have a place together in the market based on consumer wants/needs and the price point. We all know Nextleaf will have the advantages in price point, but Sproutly has the advantage in the quality of cannabis inputs that can be provided.
Sproutly's tech...... You are taking photo's of a small scale prototype and calling it fullscale industrial production. IF you wanted to learn more instead of hate (Franks) you would see that Sproutly's tech is pretty revolutionary. It completely changes the way that cannabis is extracted, absorbed and dosed by consumers. With a consistent 3-5 minute onset and a 45-60 minute offset that has no emulsification particles or added sugars to mask the cannabis taste. In a health and wellness category, clean label is where it's at and no one can match Sproutly for that.
