Nextleaf Solutions Ltd > Bevcanna deal still alive?

Bevcanna deal still alive?

Contractually speaking, our agreement with Bevcanna which was inked as a Binding Definitive Agreement elapsed in October 2020. That's a fact right?

So, our deal must be dead unless there was verbaige in there that stated it would automatically extend if Bevcanna didn't commericalize within the written 12 months. I take these contracts seriously and I have some serious concerns with Bevcannas ability to execute if they can't get a simple Sales Processing License.

Where is all the marketing with Bevcanna? There used to a large push from articles, videos with Paul, Proactive Investor about how we are partnered with Bevcanna and the greatness of the deal.

Luca never picks up calls or returns calls. This is amongst several that attempt to communicate with Bevcanna.

I never attended the Management Call today with Bevcanna so if anyone has any notes, please do share.

Are they upset that Emma joined NL as a marketing consultant? It seems maybe Emma was the link between NL and Bevcanna and after she left, that link broke. Obviously reinforced more with no Processing License.

Anyways, just brainstorming here.

Thoughts anyone?

Franks do you think they will still need nextleaf?

Bevcanna has nowhere else to go. The growing space in the deal with Naturo has nothing growing on it. Those plans were abandoned early this year when all the flower you ever wanted cost pennies on the wholesale market. Same with hemp.  I'm not invested in Bevcanna so I can't speak to their IR situation. Assuming Nextleaf's IR has to tell you they have other options because: A. ...more

You are grossly misinformed on what Sproutly has.  They are not simply an emulsion tech.  Also, the price for cannabis/hemp biomass is at an all-time low.  Producers are literally throwing it out because they can't sell it.   That said, it would be nice to know one way or another where Bevcanna and NextLeaf truly stand.

Steve oh is correct. Upon further review, I am grossly misinformed about there technology.  I'm even less concerned now.

Wow, their setup looks like a high school science project haha. Good digging Franks.

It kind of looks like a basic version of RTI's continuous flow system. I'm sure it's different.

A lot of misinformation running rampid here.   I started this thread last week with the Sproutly talk, I was on the call with Bevcanna today and I own shares in Bevcanna, Sproutly and only recently sold my Nextleaf.    On the call today I asked specifically what is going on with the Nextleaf deal.   They passed the question over to Keith Dolo and he said that ...more

Blizzy when you say "There was no confirmation on who Bevcanna will use to bottle their own line of products" You know they're a bottling facility, right? That's their entire shtick.  That video is the only video I could find of Sproutly's technology in action and I had to seek out their American affilliate Infused Biosciences to find it. That's the video they use ...more

You know that Infusion Biosciences has two beverage companies using the tech in the US so far, right?  Rijuice and Kalo.  Kalo is also distributed by Pepsi.  You're trying to discredit a technology that's proven successful and is being used in a large market already.

Jealous much?
Comment by Blizzy420 on Nov 25, 2020 9:21am
Hey Franks, You are showing that you do not know anything about 2 companies and are willing to make definitive statements about them anyway.   Losing some credibility in my eyes thats for sure.    This is a fact finding mission, not a game of who is better at what. Bevcanna is a bottling facility, but they ALSO have their own line of products.   How you do not ...more

I feel like this could all be straightened out with a definitive comment from any of these companies saying which oil and which tech Bevcanna will be using. Instead it is open to conjecture.
Comment by LastoftheFranks on Nov 25, 2020 10:54am
You'd be surprised how little my popularity affects how I sleep at night.  1. Calibloom and Keef are already established distillate based product formulations in the US that does not use Sproutly's tech. That formula is what's being approved by HC, if they were to change the formulation using Sproutly tech afterwards they would need to resubmit their new formulation for approval ...more

Stealth I agree that we would like an answer to who is providing the oil for Bevcanna going forward. Contractually, it is outside the initial timeline the contract was set up for. I haven't been able to get ahold of Bevcanna IR, and Nextleaf cannot give any substantial information. Only to say that they aren't limiting themselves to only Bevcanna amd are looking at other opportunities as ...more
