another example: Lamborghini builds a 1 of 1 car (aka a patent) for $1M... why would they turn around and sell it for $200k-300k... Lamborghini is going to charge a surcharge for their 1 of 1 as it's the only one in the world which will have future value to collectors
aka the patent can not be duplicated. If it indeed is the most proficient process in the world for extraction. Why on gods green earth would you sell it for 20-30% of what it's worth + future revenues to be created off this patent/process.
if you IP it, yes, you would sell it for fractions of what it's worth as you would still own the rights and license it multiple times.
Thought process is a bit backwards here.
