Good catch SPP. This is a very complex matter, or is it?  Positive way of looking at things CO2 extraction is the old method that Nextleaf replaced and superceded. Companies like LABS are slowly dying using it. So not clear what the point of the litigation is, besides collecting infringement compensations from a vast number of companies ($$). Indeed this could be the end of CO2

Court statement not clear at all. Too early to say and it does not matter much at the end of the day. This is about another technology and about a specific aspect of old patents, as I see it.  The positive is that IP does count and is worth something.

It's means patents are not valuable actually and a big company with deep pockets can get around it that's what this means

Why did Paul post it on Instagram and give props wen he was pushing the narrative that gw got bought out by jazz because of the infringement they clearly lost so patents are useless and he's still propping up the patents

Spoon, You are yourself jumping to BS conclusions as if you knew what you are talking about. Patent law suits happen every day, among "deep pocket companies", bla bla. Ask Blackberry if parents are worth something.  In the case of Nextleaf, if would be cheaper to buy the company upfront than to sue it

I would agree not to jump to conclusions about patents.   I was in contact with one of the posters on this board regarding patents about a year,  year and a half ago.  The was a patent lawyer from California, I believe his location, looking into Nextleaf's patents independently.  Apparently, according to him, the patents Nextleaf has overlap each other quite well.
