The street will then look at cash flow and earnings. weather you buy pre or post consolidation is irrelevant. The safer bet would be to buy after the financing and closing of the longkey deal as all the risk will be taken out, but the stock might be a bit higher.. No big deal if you look at the potential upside involved.
