We all know what happened next with the markets and the SEC invetsigation due to Biden's China transparency poilicies.... in essence that story in Lapresse brings to light Beausoleil's business dealings with others. same thing would have happened with most other stocks these days due to the Ukraine/Russia war at the moment. Only fossil fuel energy stocks went up. Means little now to Tenet Fintech shreholders because Joseph Johnson had nothing to do personally with Beausoleil's donations and business partnerships.
As Joseph Johnson stated, he never sold any of his own shares throughout all of that time. If the AMF has an issue with Beausoleil, they will continue to investigate him to see if any laws were broken. Looks to me like he used Peak shares as a donation vehicle for a good cause and got donation tax relief for it.
