PP...

Alright, so Peak has financed the DEAL with a PP...  thankfully, not too many more shares ( basically bumps up the total count from just over 138M to around 140M - something like that )...

But I stand by my earlier response about how ASFC will finance the ORDERS, once this deal is closed... ( PPs towards that aspect would theoretically need to be ongoing, which doesn't seem logical or feasible )...

Looking forward to hearing the official word on that...

Sad that these financings are selling out current share holders with conversion pricing thats already inda money. I wonder what the share price will be in december when all these shares come out of lock down. The company better be cash flow positive soon or we will have ourselves a new group of bagholders to care for.

I'm not really a fan when a compnay needs to discount the share price for a PP given how small the raise was and where they're supposedly at business growth/revenue wise. This compnay has a history of loving to squander shares aways, looks like they picked up where they left off. A measely $500K, get a F@#%*ING loan, with rates so low. Or have some insiders provide the funds, it's ...more

I have to say though that some how Peak has so far managed to escape the usual penny stock reverse split out come. Small miracles      But paying 8% for 500k  with warrants and dilution does seem to be rather more expensive that borrowing the money from another bank It seems they are not very good at this banking game yet, are they not supposed to be the ones lending the ...more

Baidu has a market cap of $42B. why do they need to use Peak? is it for the riskier loans? the elephant in the room is shady folks across the pacifique can fake credentials to deliberately "borrow" from peak knowing they won't pay back. remember that photo of vraniacs "rendez-vous" with Jiang Wang and his "company" Zhonghai Wanyue, a multi billionaire and they ...more

Giuseppe...your question is valid.  But I understood that Baidu doesn't need Peak for financial clout .  But Baidu has customers,,,lots of them.  And likely many of them need financing to get loans to buy from Baidu.  But peak simply streamlines the loan process to see who can qualify to get a loan to buy from Baidu.  Now maybe I'm wrong.  I will  see if ...more

I think the fund matching service to be offered to Baidu ecommerce customers will include dozens of other lending firms besides Baidu's own lending arm.

Correction: it's not Baidu, it's BDC.... Peak and BYG have also been in talks to bring Peak's Lending Hub commercial lending solutions to BDC's thousands of online retail clients. An agreement to that end between Peak and BYG is likely to come in the form of a joint venture, in preparation of which Peak closed today's announced private placement.

The target market is small businesses that want to make and sell products on an ecommerce site but lack the working capital to meet demand. The product could be very inexpensive. Offering these businesses a service that helps them get funding from a pool of potential lenders is of value to the small business, the lender and the ecommerce site.

Mike, last time I talked  with the company, they were going to increase the lending capacity for ASFC. ASFC has a track record now and can attract loans at a very reasonable rate. I think Johnson also mentioned this last year. I would believe that the lending rate that ASFC  will loan out to the E-commerce retailers will be relatively high. Or it wouldn't make sense. This is my ...more

Hi laptop... Yeah, that’s exactly what I was talking about in the previous thread ( ASFC’s ability to expand its lending capacity by as much as 100% )... Happy to hear somebody else recognize that possibility...  Cheers...
