This is exactly what the company needs. Weak on the buy side, not enough depth in demand within the market. The Company needs to get their message out - there is a significant amount of value not captured within the current stock price. Hopefully this will do just that. Get this out to the broader market and no more fun and games for short term profit takers.
This will also start to weed out some of the BS short selling that is obviously going on here. Eventually these short sellers will get burned and those who support the company and continue to go long will reap the benefit.
