I can personally speak to a similar situation with Durango Resources with claims in the Windfall Lake in Quebec where Osisko is creating a world class deposit. Durango does exactly the same, picks up claims in hot area and hope somebody comes knocking.
Well, that's exactly what happened in early 2017. Was it a home run? no but the SP when from few pennies to high teens. Could it happen with SPMT? absolutely. The part I like with SPMT is the $500k+ that they can raise thru the exercise of options/warrants. Deploying that money can put SPMT in the drivers seat. Worth the few thousand to see what happens.
