The process I have seen that has come the closest is Trait Biosciences they have developd a process called glycoisation by adding a simple sugar molecule to each cannabanoid it breaks down in the body much quicker than the traditional methods. However it is an altered state for the plant material which makes it genetically modified and on a lower level than $PR as well.
Ebbu is the reason why those Houndsooth and Soda drinks for Canopy are getting reviews with an aftertaste and an herby flavour profile.
