LOL, someone called JM got scammed in Kelowna...but seriously, I used to question the name of THC's CEO - it's always John Miller with no initial. I used to complain that a name like that is so common, that searching it on the internet would produce so many results you couldn't look through them all - they call that "security through obscurity".
Q: Where's the best place to hide a sunflower? A: In a field of sunflowers
Was that a deliberate ploy by JM to hide his past? I dont know, but no one was ever able to find out anything about his background. His education, his previous work experience, nothing has ever been found out about this mystery CEO, and I'm pretty sure that's just the way he wants it.
My own research suggested that maybe JM, before stating THC, had a business in Kelowna providing some sort of cleaning services (I'm not joking), I think maybe a company he owned (and he was probably the only employee) had a contract wiping down / disinfecting CIBC ATMs during SARS or a similar event.
We know for sure that the CFO had a business go bankrupt on her before THC, local knowledge suggests it was a Dunkin Donuts franchise, that had the misfortune of a Tim's opening right beside it and taking all its business.
Nope, dont feel too bad for JM and his bride the CFO - I think they've probably done extremely well, and continue to do extremely well, by getting into the pot biz early.
And how about THC's "INTERIM" CFO? Even bigger LOL. Interim?? How long has she been CFO after the last real financial person resigned? Maybe 3-4 years now?? That's quite the interim assignment.
By the way, anyone want to see what a real pre-roll machine looks like? You can either head up the street to Valens, ask for a tour, and see at least two of them, or watch this youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cnD8H1LgIw Instead of the used ciggy machine that JM allegedly purchased, THAT"S a real pre-roller.
No need for me to point out (again) that JM once advised me to sell my shares in THC "because I was finding my investment too stressful". More like I was making his role as CEO too stressful by occasionally texting his cell-phone with questions and requests for a meeting and tour of THC facilities... So I did sell, mostly when THC was still over a buck, and plunked all of it into Valens, which hit $4 a few months ago, and is currently sitting at $3. Thanks JM, that was great advice!
