Spin Out (US Nevada) News

123Buy,

Our wish of a spin out has been granted. Great news combining it with a placement. Things are looking up on the 2017-2018 Drilling plans.

Columbus plans to carry-out an unprecedented exploration program to drill test up to 8 high-quality exploration properties (7 in Nevada) in a period of 12 months, beginning in the fall of 2017. The 8 projects which were identified over about the last decade by Columbus Gold's exclusive exploration team - Cordex, host high-priority drill targets. Further details on the projects will be provided in the management information circular to be mailed to shareholders of Columbus.

Finally some news, fellas! I have a sneaking suspicion that the purpose of the Allegiant spin-off is not actually to seperate gold exploration efforts between FG and Nevada even though we are being led to believe so. This announcement has come so soon after my chat will Mr. Cornstra wherein we discussed the possibility of transitioning U.S. operations into corn focused activities and maintaining ...more

Yes, a significant and I believe positive move by CBGDF, which separates the potentially longer term value/growth of FG from the potentially explosive growth of Nevada (particularly, if gold goes up). However, FG may not see real SP growth till we are much closer to the production phase which could be 2021-22 (by the way if you have not seen the newer CBGDF site for the FG project, check it out at ...more

After the Imagold Camp Caiman fiasco the FG government went about reclassification of which lands mining activity would be allowed. D'Ore is going to be the first real test of Guiana ambitions. I am very perplexed about the NG initial mining cost submission of 80 Million. There is more to this than we are being told because I can't see Nord trying to game the system. I wonder if it was ...more

No matter how you cut it, Columbus is undervalued. We all understand the valuation metrics of the FG property, that by itself should have us at a market cap of around $200 million. Obviously, until some clarity is reached, we won't see that reflected in the share price. What jumps out at me is the gift management is giving us shareholders in the Nevada spin-off. I compare Columbus/Nevada to ...more

We in turn are valuing our spin-off at 20% of our current cap, (1 share for every 5 ) which would equal $16 million, or a third of what our peers are noted to be... That's goofy math. You are assuming that the CGT and Allegiant shares will trade at the same price post spin-off to get your valuation based on the 5 to 1 ratio (even there you are wrong since Allegiant would be 1/6 of the total ...more

This is the most interesting question in this spinoff move; the SP of Allegiant on being issued. We know the reasons why the spinoff occurred, but as you suggest all we can say with confidence re., ALT’s SP is “the market will set the price…” However, for me it’s important to hypothesize on events when speculating in gold explorers, so that when e.g., a restructuring actually occurs, we can then ...more
