RE:RE:Management obviously trying to stay alive-fingers crossedMeeting of shareholders to bring them up to date usually on finacials or any upcoming transactions (expansion, partnerships, etc) However since no finacials to give out and no real updates until out of protection it is a lot of money to spend. It can also include votes on certain issues (board of directors, expenasion, etc,) and that means mailing info to ALL shareholders and if a vote is involved proxy slips to vote. Since nothing "really" going on it would be a big waste of money--just the mailing could run them 1/2 M or more considering mail is almost $1 a letter. then the printing and usually return mail is included if a proxy vote is included.
Better to put it off until they actually have financials to provide and updates after they come out of protection--I suspect next March or so would be good for an AGM as will have 4th quarter sales to report and what is happening once sales get going again
