I am blind as a bat (-7.0 both eyes).  The most I ever paid for glass was a mind-numbing $814 from a local retailer. 

I ordered my first pair of Coastal glasses shortly after they launched their program in Feb 2008.  I was so happy with my glasses that I bought another pair.  Later that year I bought in at
.77/share and just bought more today at $1.46/share. 

I've bought 6 pairs of glasses from this company and will order some contacts in a few weeks.  Friends who I have told about this company and who have bought glasses from them have been happy with both price and quality.  I don't understand how people still go into retailers like "Iris" and "Clearly Vision" and pay $800 for glasses when you can get the exact same quality from Coastal Contacts for under $150?

It will take a while for this company to grow as many people (especially older generation) are still very sceptical when it comes to buying glasses online, but with time I think Coastal Contacts is poised for huge success.  My 52 year old father was initially sceptical, but now he is on his third pair for Coastal glasses.
