Otherwise you'd think companies would be falling all over themselves to be first in.The technology has been verified .Right.

Can't say, but what I do know is that Coal21 is a funding body with $555M to spend on CCUS tech, and their Jul 2 article is highly supportive of CST. Doesn't mean a thing unless a deal is made, but it does seem that Australia is at least closer to being interested in CST than Alberta is. Alberta's loss could turn out to be Australia's gain.

Yeah it is too bad that coal has become so taboo when it's merely a mismanaged resource whose environmental issues can be solved with engineering. I hold out some hope for U.S. that the new "small" coal plants with ccs might open up some opportunity for CST someday. Australia seems likeliest to me because they are tying coal, ccus and hydrogen together.
