I will sue the writers of that misleading Story.

I will launch a lawsuit against the people who wrote that (false) story and the narrative within it, they  have hammered this stock down now for their own personal gain.

Company should have done it. They are staying mum about it after inntial rhetoric. Vey difficult to prove.
Comment by ronin1 on Mar 16, 2018 10:53am
I agree. They dont' seem to care about sharlholders. Management should buy shares to show they beleive in their company.  The worst is the ANAList rthat cover the company are very high target price they are being lower by a 1$ every quarter as price fall.

Don't sue anybody don't worry the business itself going to prove them wrong. keep a long thinking and you will be rewarded.

Let cross our fingers the shorts keep covering and long stop selling or land their shares. I have a sell order @10$ for all my shares. I just want to make sure no one borough then to short since I have them in may margin account. I am still under water with an ACB of 8.25$.
Comment by MrEvilx on Mar 16, 2018 5:32pm
everyone who owns the stock, should put a sell order for 15 $ ...  now to screw the shorters, Crius should announce next 3 months worth divvy on coming divvy date and no divvy next two months.... pinches their cashflow but surely screws up the shorts.
Comment by Pandora on Mar 18, 2018 8:39pm
$8.25 ACB would make me feel better. I got in at $9.49 after my broker suggested it as his best recommendation for a dividend paying stock. I believe it was all of about 2 days after I bought that it went in the tank. I am getting the divvy which is nice even based on my $9.49 buy in but my capital is trashed although I know that is not a factor unless I choose to sell at these levels. I just ...more

This is a very good idea but I just heard today that "shorting" in Canada and shorting in the US are a bit different. In the US, all stock shorted must be "borrowed." In Canada the shorterers only need to borrow 20% of the number of stocks they want to short.  US investors or people with US accounts can seriously hold back a short attack. Not so in Canada.  Please ...more

deisman, talk to your stockbroker and he Will guide you through the short subject properly. You cannot short through RRSP nor TFSA accounts. You need to setup a cash account and sign an agreement with your stockbroker friend to get into short position similar but opposite to margin buying. GL my friend. That suggestion of putting the shares @$15. was just silly. I will be shorting Crius soon. As ...more

Scool, thx for the advice. I have a pretty good idea of how shorting works in Canada. No I'm not an expert by any means and my knowledge is to limited for me to pursue the practise.  One thing I disagree with your info on is that it doesn't make any difference.  The only stock/units available for shorting can't be in play. If an owner puts in a sell at a much higher ...more

deisman, you really believe that Crius at the bottom already ?? IMHO, it all depends  on the  NCIB buyback at least  10% units/shares which would majorly reduce their cash flow; if however they were found bluffing, then this trust unit would be pushed down further.!! ! So watch for market developments

Scool, thanx for the heads up. I am watching this like a hawk at present. Time will tell all.  Like you, I will believe it when I see it.  As for a bottom. I have never been very good at picking a dead bottom or a max top. I'm always somewhere in between.  Good luck either way.
Comment by deisman03 on Mar 20, 2018 12:42pm
This has all of the signs of a bottom. I've been wrong before though so please do your own due diligence.  That big 160k buy this morning is what I've been looking for. It will either be a signal of another big drop or if my diligence is correct, a short covered at what was perceived as a bottom and of course before the other bigger shorts start covering an driving up prices.  ...more

I like their plan for spending discretionary cash flow. I am sure they will not go overboard with NCIB.  As far as shorts . (if any) are concerned, cat is out of the bag. Shock and fear is withering. It has bounced twice from $7.01 and $7.12. In my view, it may not have been a short attack. The unit price had shot up too quickly to $11.32 by design or default. Because of the low volume ...more

Sukhi, there was definitely something awry with the SHORT SCENARIO. Either some of management was complicit or just to inexperienced to protect themselves from it happening. IMHO that's one big reason the distribution was so generous.  IMHO the price will rebound back to around $9 before Q3. But you know know what they say about opinions and???? Everybody has at least one of each.  ...more

Thay said, "Furthermore, Crius Energy believes that it has identified the persons and entities responsible for the blog post. Not expecting much out of the courts or the commission.  I guess I am cynical but I don't see anything restoring the damage done to Cirius and particularly the investors for at least a few more quarters or so.  Have their been any successful suits won lately for this kind of  thing?   I could be wrong but it seems compensation for any shareholders losses incurred is wshful ...more

If they actually do take this to litigation, they are required by law not to say any more. If they drag it out as long as they have their ongoing court case????????????????? Did you get the mail I sent you????

deisman, got it. Replied. Copy. "I find the answer satisfactory. I am not sure whether the CFO or somebody will answer. I have been writing to CFO in past and he has been prompt in reply. At this point, I am sure he will have his hands full with NCIB/Acquisitions/paying the debt etc. I guess they will take all actions to nullify whatever the short article claimed."

Even if they have identified the people. They care two hoots. They have made their millions. It would be very difficult to prove it in the court. Remember it is freedom of speech. They have already spent millions in settlements. Would they spend more on legal issues? I guess people writing the article, had all the possibilities covered. They won't mind spending a few hundred thousands on ...more

Idle threat at best. If you had enough money to do the you would already have done so.  My concern is why aren't the mangers at Crius getting it together enough to thwart this???? Anyone seen any INSIDER selling by directors???
