I used to own a few shares of Franco nevada and I had a return of 200% and I know the managment is great. Franco Nevada had a private placemet with creso Exploration .

Franco will purchase 1,415,094 common shares of Creso at a price of $1.06 in a non-brokered private placement for an amount of $1,500,000. The purchase price was set at a 15% premium over the 20-day volume weighted-average market price prior to this announcement. so I am sure franco nevada would have not invested in creso exploration if they were not confident in the company. so further down in that press release it states:All securities issued to Franco and APG are subject to a four month hold period.So does that mean they are free to trade January 21st?  And to be in the money one would need the price to go from where it is today to $1.06 by then?  Or am I mistaken?Leaky

No Leaky you are not mistaken. Understand one thing, Franco knows what Creso is sitting on and they also know that these shares will be worth a great deal more in the coming months/years. The other portion of the PP which is key to Franco is the 2% royalty. Franco isn't selling their shares anytime soon.Aside from this Franco has teamed up with Creso in other ways most don't realize

I have a small position and continue to research.  Can you or anyone on the board tell me about the smeltering royalty?  I understand what it is, however, I'm not sure at what stage of the process it becomes significant.  I mean they are still drilling and proving up what they have and production seems a ways off..  Therefore, I&

Leaky, the royalty option is obviously significant only if they put this property into production as some point. That could happen with CXT or in a takeover situation. If a major takes out CXT the option is still valid to Franco.There are widespread resources in this area and will be mined sooner than later if the results keep coming in like this. Even at that we are still looking at 2-5
