RE:Why are people paying .25 they will get only .13 for later?Four reasons I can see:
1.  People think another offer is coming
2.  People believe that the takeover will be stopped and there will some renegotiation.  When I look at the number of shares that were issues to LeMay (513,158), Krill (109,474) and Beacon (92,105) on July 29 for what looks to be performance, it makes me sick.  I can't believe how this management team is profiting on their failures.  When it comes down to what's important in life, they are losers.  Where are the Board of Directors to look after the shareholders?   Should all the facts come to light one could make a case that this takeover needs to be reviewed.
3.  Some traders trying to take advantage of the volatility.
4.  Management figures they need to buy shares to carry the vote and will pay extra.
 
Can anyone see any other reasons?
