Ventura Cannabis and Wellness Corp is a vertically integrated, California-based products cannabis company. The company is currently building out its distribution channel through revenue-sharing agreements with owner-operator of cannabis dispensaries to ensure it's products get premium shelf space. I have yet to receive any shares or the letters. 

Only stockholders with a US mailing address are able to trade the stock.  I think, generally, you would also need a separate brokerage account (not the one that is already established with a Canadian mailing address)  but I don't know for sure. That can complicate matters if your shares are in a TFSA or RSP.
