I can't think of a single reason why I would vote in favour of this. My entire investment is in my TFSA, so I can't write off the loss and the offer is a fraction of my average purchase price

Those are Preferred shares and will simply be cancelled. The number of Common shares remains unchanged.

It just occurred to me that if cur is receiving 4.9 million shares back from genprobe, then that should reduce the number of shares outstanding and that would put the payout at closer to 14 cents per

My view for the end of CUR. All proceeds from Hologic deal plus any cash on hand [less small reserve] be distributed to stockholders as a liquidating dividened. Cease all operations , no salaries
