REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT


Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1 Titan Minerals Limited (“Titan” or “the Company”) requests an immediate trading halt over the Company’s securities pending the release of an announcement (“Announcement”) in relation to the Company’s takeover bid for Core Gold Inc.

The trading halt is requested until the commencement of trading on Thursday, 21 November 2019, or Titan releasing the Announcement, whichever occurs earlier.

The Directors of Titan are not aware of any reasons why a trading halt should not be granted.

They like trading halts. They don't seem to do much else. Now if they some insider track of the real offers then this could: we are giving up or we are offering 4 pieces of confetti share paper for each Core share. The other thing could be the promissory notes are in total limbo land and we want our money back from Vertex or Pender or whoever. That is because their loan will be called in

and of course more importantly it may well be as Tad says a deal may be announced pretty imminently and Titan wants to save face by making a suitable announcement. This whole debacle will be something for the academics to write up about. Our wait is likely ending soon.

The bid was good until January 14th 2019. So possibilities: -They are withdrawing it -Officially entering the strategic review if it's not too late. -Ammending it - meaningless as Titan has no value -The possibility I fear - They've secured some shares, perhaps a majority stake by certain board members tendering to their offer. A backdoor takeover, with possible unethical behaviour

Might be getting down to my last chances to take another kick at Titan, so here goes.   Re: Titan asks for another halt on the ASX. Why?   - It is possible they will pull there offer,and never be heard of again. Unless the TSX has changed their mind and will let Titan have those 20 million shares of Core, or Titan has somehow come up with $84 million cash; whatever Titan comes up with now, it will be to try and  keep their backers from doing whatever it is backers do when they are totally screwed by someone. So, here we sit, waiting for some sort of conclusion to the Strategice Review Process, a process that saw several non-binding indications of interest, as well as the higjly dilutive Titan Minerals all (confetti) paper offer. 1kgcoffee, LOL ...  no idea what to think.  Pure speculation at the present time .... maybe Titan expected Core Gold to put out a news release by today, and have extended their halt until after Core Gold issues a press release ?  Time will tell ..... GLTA

Titan seems to be serial offenders of extending halts. I think that tonight was poker night with certain Core board members  and  the Titan board, and cfo's,  so they were too busy to release any news. Will probably be a late night. Perhaps news tomorrow, or maybe when they get together next week for poker night.

So in other words we should get something from Core by Tuesday night? Unless titan does another extension.

rjm316 I think it is obvious that Titan knows something .... they had to have been part of any negotiations that probably occurred after the bid period closed at the end of October. There were several offers, as stated by the company, so if there was such interest, and some competition from much more significant suitors, it is just my opinion, but I think that Titan knows that they can't

Well put Tad, and sounds pretty reasonable.  My astrology friends say it would be good timing too.  But ... even if they've made a deal or make a deal, it still takes time to finalize the paperwork.  If there's any kind of deposit cheque involved, I don't think they could leave it more than a couple weeks, dunno ...

This is the most likely outcome, stalling to protect the share price. In the end I just hope we all make money even these darstards ! Those sophisticated investors, just wondering if they are linked to any Core Gold employees ! GLA, Our time for better or worse is coming to an end.

Another , probably unlikely, possibility: If  Titan were smart,  and of all the other words I and others have used in the same sentence as Titan : Cheats, liars, swindlers, criminals, murderers (maybe just attempted so far),  (and those are just the family friendly words) smart doesn't look quite right.  But I think we can give them clever, in the way scam artists can be.
