NCIB = best asset ? or Tax loss = best asset ?After catching up by re-reading recent posts I ponder that the point raised by Catscratch on stock buy backs via NCIB might be the best asset all though it is not recorded on the books. The largest liabilty, also un-recorded, may be the complexity surrounding such a mixed basket of investments. As well, the tax loss situation ( seems complex ) is also an asset worth noting.
