Timing of Kidd Creek Drilling

Timing of Kidd Creek DrillingThe timing of today's announcement makes perfect sense. EXS waited until after the premier's visit to see if Glencore was going to make any announcement about a newly discovered resource and an extension of KC operations. Absent that announcement from Glencore, EXS decided to proceed with drilling on its own KC claims. This is also just in time for the early June Canadian Mining Expo in Timmins, at which CD will be a guest speaker. Okay, now consider this aspect of the KC drilling announcement. If Teck had dropped TPW, would EXS be drilling on both Ogden and KC almost simultaneously? If Teck had told EXS it was backing out, EXS would have had to return to TPW to do more of its own drilling on its flagship property to increase resources and try to attract Tahoe, Goldcorp, Oban, or some other JV partner. KC would have been put on hold. I somehow don't think CD would be looking to drill three properties pretty much at once. This is more evidence that Teck has plans to stay, allowing EXS to concentrate its efforts on Ogden and KC. We could certainly use that overdue NR about now to quiet the doubters.
