Did some math...
New poster here, not invested but came across this FITX article - Medical marijuana update:
Creative Edge’s paperwork problem..
Was reading the insert:
“The Ontario site will be able to grow 1.3 million pounds of pot from 50,000 plants — an operation that could produce $5 billion in sales per year when it starts producing in a few weeks after it passes government inspections,” said the Post story by reporter Tom Donnelly. “No more hiding grow lamps in closets: This $20 million facility will churn out pot like other factories churn out aspirin. And it has plans to expand to the US.”
“The facility is done, it’s ready,” CEO Bill Chaaban is reported as saying. “It’s laid out [like] a manufacturing facility for prescription drugs.”

And so I did some quick math:
Im assuming they can maybe crop 4-5 times if they strictly flower all of their plants and none of the 50,000 plants are in vegatative growth.
5,000,000,000 total sales a year
50,000 plants
1.3 million lbs
1.3m lbs / 50,000 plant = 26lbs a year per plant
26lbs / 4 cycles per year = 6.5 lbs per plant/per crop
26lbs / 5 cycles per year= 5.2 lbs per plant/per crop
Are they telling us that they are going to grow super human plants that no one has ever seen before as well? From what I read on the net, even the most experienced outdoor growers only produce up to 1lb per plant/per crop on the best day.
