The two companies formed this ground breaking formal partnership and are pleased to announce have been in full production since Q1 2012 of the Autocar Xpert custom Class 7 Cab Over sweeper chassis, coupled with Elgin's market leading sweeper bodies. The Autocar Xpert is the only American owned and assembled class 7 cab over in the US market today, and with UD (imports) announcing it's plans to exit the US market just this week, Autocar is now the only Class 7 cab over in full production in the US.
