Their EPS are not getting any better over the last few quarters compared to their peers, (ACB, WEED and APH). Their ability to raise capital will be severely impaired if the takeover fails, as the big money will (and has been moving) to companies that can convert warrants quickly from either PP or convertible debentures. (follow the big money it’s usually smart as well) The sector by its very nature and big money at the moment is not interested in organic growth, and it’s evident that’s what CMED management is trying to do.(just ask the group of 38) I said in an earlier post “you can’t run with the wolves if you piss like a puppy” CMED management is pissing like a puppy right now. IMHO
you just explained the difference between value investing and hot stock investing. I prefer value hence my position in Cmed. Value plays take longer to increase shareholder returns and hot stock can cause share price to increase rapidly, unfortunately the also decrese just as rapidly. I’m looking out 24 months so hot stock doesn’t do it for me. Value always wins.....so by all means play hot stock all you want, but don’t try to convince Cmed shareholders the merit of hot stock investing, we’ve already chosen value by virtue of our investment selection. Have a great day pal
