The great thing about business that isn't privately owned, is the CEO can have the company significantly drop in value but then turnaround and get awarded with cheap options! More and more options because, you need that "incentive" to do a better job!
In the private sector..... well you usually cut your own salary & take other cut costing measures to stay afloat.
