I did some digging after GLK posted that they have the largest north american producer of lead-acid batteries in the pipeline. According to the IBIS WORLD industry report on lead acid battery production in North America, THE LEADING MANUFACTURER IS JOHNSON CONTROLS!!! A company with 38 B USD in sales for 2016!

Just my own guess...
